Russ Simmons
Russ Simmons, a native of Bonner Springs, Kansas, is an actor, singer and emcee. He received a degree in theater from Emporia State University and immediately began his performing career at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City. He has appeared in over 30 regional theater productions, including three seasons at Robert Redford's Sundance Theater at the famous Utah resort. He also toured Europe, the Mediterranean and Africa with various singing groups and has entertained troops in the Far East through the USO. For the last twelve years, he has been the vocalist for the Steve Miller K. C. Band, performing in numerous convention shows and concerts, including a stint at the World's Fair in Seville, Spain. Russ also writes film reviews for a Kansas City newspaper.
